i liked this place before it was done up and i like it even more since it's been refurbished it's beautiful inside! lovely outdoor seating area. only reason I haven't rated 5 stars is because I think the menu is quiet pricey given the location, sale centre is not too far with much more competitive prices. but its defiantly worth visiting
Had a lovely lunch at the Belmore! It has been refurbished recently and looks fab! The staff were pleasant and eager to please. The food was presented well and reasonably priced. Although we haven't been in the evening..our friends have highly recommended it. The outdoor beer garden is very up market and cosy!

Stayed 2 nights when over visiting friends. Room and bathroom was a bit tight but bed was comfy. There is no air con in the room which made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep (stayed during the summer), also our room was on close to a main road which was very loud considering we had to keep the windows open due to the lack of air con. The toiletries provided were poor. Close to the tram and main shopping street. Staff were nice and helpful, however check out is 11 which is early for a hotel especially on a Sunday and house keeping entered the room before 9am. Hotel served its purpose but would probably not stay again.
An OK hotel we placed for travel into Manchester. A friendly welcome was to be had after parking up in the free car park. Thankfully being a Best Western card member I was upgraded to a larger room. The room was clean and tidy with a four poster bed. Bathroom was a little on the small size but plenty enough for a short stay. Breakfast is a good standard with a mix of hot and cold food.

Ι was so frustrated when the lady in the reception told me that I needed to be charged for the wifi! Awful!!! The bed was excellent and hot water in the shower also was nice and it was quite quiet but again I think it is too expensive for what it offers....
Typical travelogue great value good location friendly staff

The Bulls Head, is a nice pub, with a huge beer garden and great food and beer. As a Robinson's pub the session beer is Unicorn, which I enjoy but there is also a full range of the popular bottled beers and ciders as well as other Robinson's cask ales. It's a very heavily planted beer garden, so you really feel like you are in a garden. It's also a popular place to stay for those looking to explore the area, though I have no idea what the rooms are like. Locals are always in here and I can confirm that the food, though not cheap, is very good.its definitely a venue if you were looking to go out for an evening meal.
Lovely room, great food and live music as well. Well worth spending the night rather than a silly o'clock start for the airport. £3 a night if you want to leave your car whilst you're away and around £10 for a taxi to the airport which is 10 minutes away.

Fabulous pub nicely furnished. Good family atmosphere. Good food and great service. Our waitress Monica was friendly, professional and provided a really efficient service... true asset to the place.
Friendly service, nice atmosphere with some live music. Good food!

Lovely pub, great atmosphere. We got in there around 8.30 pm. It was very busy and there was a general lack of seating. There was a small table to the right as we went in, so we sat there. It had two place settings. Immediately, we were told to move as it was reserved for diners. We stayed there until after 11. No one sat at "that" table all night. We spent over £50 between us at the bar. Two bottles of wine and a few pints. We probably spent more at the bar than we would have on food. Would have been nice to have a table. Staff were pleasant. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.
Went on Friday, quieter than usual, but still a great atmosphere, really nice place to have a drink. Staff pleasant and service with a smile. Can't rate this place enough. Been here more in the last couple of months., than anywhere else. Shame they don't do cocktails !! Love it, love it...

The hotel is very very British. Yes a little old fashioned, but it’s oozing charm and character! But what makes the place is the staff... warm, friendly and helpful! I would be happy to stay here again.
Surprisingly quiet being close to main road and airport. Very clean and comfortable, furnishings dated but clean...good breakfast and gluten free catered for. Staff friendly and all in all a good overnight stay here.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Visited with a Mobile Climbing Wall. The track off the A56 could do with a sign. The site looked really good. Everywhere looked really tidy. Well done to the campsite team.
My 4 year old loved it particularly when he built a fire all by himself. Very proud moment.
